How to Maintain a 50/50 Split Front Armrest on Chrysler Concorde?

The front armrest will service the 50/50 split if you first move the driver seat all the way forward and the passenger seat all the way back. Open up the armrest lid and first take out the access retaining nut cover, then remove the armrest retaining nut. Pull the armrest slowly off the bracket. First, slide the armrest back onto the bracket and then install and tighten the armrest nut to 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs.) when installing it. In the end, tighten the access retaining nut cover and put the seats in their proper places.

Fold down the 40 side rear seat back, remove the arm rest bolt and then get rid of the retaining C clip to remove the arm rest. Removing the rear seat back first helps you reach and take out the silencer panel fastener screws located behind it, before you remove the silencer panel. Then, after removing the screws that hold the arm rest to the back of the seat, remove the arm rest. Slide the 60/40 armrest assembly into the bracket, install the bolt and tighten it fully to 12 N.m (9 ft.lbs.) after that, attach the C-clip and move the seats back in their place. To install the rear ski/pass, set the arm rest and bolt it to the seat back with fasteners tightened at 5 N.m (45 in.lbs.) torque, replace the silencer fasteners and mount the seat back.
