The first step is to open the hood and remove the negative battery cable from its spot on the remote battery post. After that, use the instructions in the Body, Door - Front section to take off the door trim and water shield. Remove the clip holding the wire in place, remove the pigtail and then take out the Door Lock Switch from the door lock cylinder. Apply the Door Lock Switch to the door lock cylinder and reconnect the wiring clip and pigtail wire connector. After that, install the door trim and water shield over the holes and link the negative battery cable remote terminal to the remote battery post.
