Open the hood, then take out the negative cable from the remote battery's post to access the Junction Block and BCM, both on the driver's side. Release the left end cap from inside the front driver's door and remove the two instrument panel screws from the outside of the end of the cover to access the clips and slide the instrument panel rearward. You should disconnect the power to the hood release switch and the cable before taking off the hood. Then, take out the left knee blocker and both under column ducts. Erase the four screws that hold the Junction Block/BCM and disconnect all the wire harnesses attached to it. To take out the Junction Block/BCM completely, disconnect both the BCM wires and the RKE antenna connector after removing the block. Now, put the Junction Block/BCM back in your car and attach both the BCM and RKE antenna wire connectors. Fix the Junction Block/BCM securely, attach the connector wires and install the four screws. Put the under column ducts and left knee blocker back in place, fit the cable to the hood release and the decklid release switch and lastly install the two screws in the lower instrument panel and the left end cap. After that, attach the remote end of the negative
Battery Cable to the negative post of the remote battery.
