  Lay your marks on the front and rear propeller shaft flanges against the transmission output flange and rear axle pinion flange to confirm correct driveline balance before installing the drive/propeller shaft. Make sure to place all fasteners from the driveline back in their identical old positions. Set the propeller shaft in the vehicle and hold it up with a jack stand. Place the bearing bracket in the middle and put in the bolts, tightening them until the torque reads 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Connect the lower propeller shaft to the rear axle pinion flange near the car's height it would be when driving. Tighten all three propeller shaft bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.). Now, bolt the front propeller shaft to the transmission output flange, double-checking that all torque is measured with the vehicle properly supported and fasten the three front propeller shaft bolts to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.). Fasten all the bolts in the transmission tunnel support bracket to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Place the transmission crossmember and transmission mount where they should be, then secure the mounting bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.,) after which tighten the crossmember bolts to the same specification, 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.). Fit the rear Exhaust Heat Shield and its bolts, then tighten them down to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.). After that, take out the jack stand from under the transmission, put on the exhaust system and secure the vehicle onto the ground.

  After raising the vehicle, remove the exhaust system with the Catalytic Converter. After that, unfasten the nuts holding the center Exhaust Heat Shield and the center heat shield and remove the bolts from the rear transmission tunnel support bracket and the bracket itself. Have a jack stand in place to back up the transmission, then remove the bolts holding the transmission and crossmember and pull out the crossmember from the vehicle. Every part of the driveline should be balanced which is why it's important to mark both propeller shaft flanges to the other flanges and also mark and number the bolts to ensure correct placement after removal. After that, remove the bolts holding the rear propeller shaft in place and detache the shaft. Afterward, take out the three bolts from the front propeller shaft of the transmission output flange and withdraw the front shaft. At last, remove the center bearing bracket bolts and pull the propeller shaft from the vehicle.
