  First, get the vehicle onto jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire to take out the parking brake cable. After that, use a socket to remove the bolts from the rear caliper assembly then take off the brake rotor. Following that, remove the parking brake shoe assembly. Raise the tensioner bolt of the parking brake cable equalizer, then pull out the front parking brake cable from the bolts at the equalizer. Remove the parking brake cables from where they are connected to the parking brake cable equalizer. Get the parking brake shoe actuator arm out of the way of the rear wheel carrier, then take off the cover at the arm's top end to reach the parking brake cable pin. Place the cable pin up through the arm and pull to remove the actuator from the cable. After that, undo the parking brake bolt that goes through the rear wheel carrier assembly, then remove the parking brake cable from the eyelets and from your car.

After that, fix the parking brake cable (2) to the rear wheel carrier assembly (4) with the supplied bolt (1) making sure it's fastened by 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Insert the cable pin through arm (3) that meets the actuator (1) and connects to the cable (2), then close the actuator arm top cover (3). Place the actuator arm onto the rear carrier assembly, so that the brass pins hold it firmly and it can still move freely. Pull the parking brake cables to the equalizer and install the equalizer to the parking brake cable bolt at the front of the car. After that, attach the rear parking brake shoe assembly (1-5) together with the stay assembly (7-2) and the rear brake rotor (1). The rear brake caliper can be joined with the help of the bolts (1). Check your parking brakes and then place your wheel and tire on the car. When all is complete, raise the vehicle to the right level and check the parking brake, fixing any problems.
