The first thing to do is drain the radiator until it is lower than the coolant sensor in the engine. Following that, take the negative cable from its connection to the remote jumper terminal. With everything cold, remove the coolant sensor sensor by unplugging the connector first. Installing the sensor is easy; place it properly and tighten it to 7 Nm (60 inch lbs.). Connect the electrical cable to the sensor and top up the cooling system.
