- Q: How to Service and Repair Door Moldings on Rear Window Glass on Chrysler Pacifica?A:Before you can service and repair the Weather Strip or molding around the rear door window, first lower the window all the way. Take out the rear inner molding weather strip as well as the fixed glass run channel. Remove the screws from the outer belt molding that hold it in place along the inside part of the rear door at the B-pillar and C-pillar. Use tool #9093 to insert it between the glass and edge of the mold in the rear, then move it ahead about 14 cm (5.5 in.). Firmly push down on the outside molding but keep the tool in place around the vehicle. Then, have someone move the top of the tool outwards while you pull up the molding. Do this as often as necessary until the molding can be taken off and then take out the outer belt weather strip. For putting on the molding, slide it into place and use a gentle hammer to press down or tap it until it has attached properly. Reinstall the screws for the belt molding at both B- and C-pillars, then add the fixed glass run channel, the rear inner molding weather strip and the door trim panel. After that, close the window.
