How to remove the Exhaust Resonator on Chrysler Pacifica?

In order to remove the exhaust resonator, relieve the rear suspension of all body weight to create the necessary clearance between the muffler/resonator pipe and rear axle assemblage, then raise vehicle using a body contact type hoist. Spray the torca clamp 2 with penetrating oil, taking care not to dent or kink the flex-joint's bellows otherwise they will fail and catalytic converter will need replacing. Loosen the torca clamp nut 1 and support the muffler/resonator assembly 1. Then, prior to removing from vehicle, remove the insulators 2 from the muffler/resonator assembly. Ensure not to scratch the black paint on the rear of the resonator/muffler assembly.
