  First, raise the car; then discard the two-part routing clips and use new ones after removing them from the hoses; install the third, single-piece clip again. Remove the clips that hold together the power steering fluid pressure and return hoses and pull the pressure hose from the steering gear. Drop the car and undo the connector to free the power steering fluid pressure hose from the pump's discharge part. Raise the car once more to reach the bottom hose, with both O-ring seals removed and thrown away. You should clean out dust from the steering hose openings, discharge fitting of the pump and the steering gear port with a lint-free towel before installing. On the end of the power steering hose, use your fingers to secure new O-ring seals and add fresh clean power steering fluid. Feed the power steering pressure hose from the vehicle's underside to the Power Steering Pump and to the fitting on the steering gear, using the tube nut to seal the hose at the steering gear. Hold the power steering fluid pressure and return pipes together with two clips, then install the third routing clip after that. Be certain there are no points on the hoses where they might tear and make sure the tube nut is tightened to 31 Nm (275 in. lbs.). Reduce the vehicle, join the power steering hose to the discharge fitting on the pump, adjust the O-ring to fit nicely on the end and tighten the fitting to a torque of 31 Nm (275 in. lbs.). Add only the ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid from Mopar to the power steering system, bring the fluid reservoir up to the designed mark, proceed with the power steering pump test and then examine all of the hose links for possible leaks.
