Slide the floor distribution duct into place and engage it with the intermediate floor duct near the rear and then with the outlet in the top HVAC housing. After placing screw 4 and tightening it to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.), attach the instrument panel. On the left duct, guide it to the left hand side of the housing, lock it with the opening at the top and then put in the
Steering Column Covering. If you take out the intermediate floor duct, put the right rear one into the car and connect it to the right floor distribution duct. Subsequently, have the right rear floor duct placed over the vehicle, insert the end of the duct into the rear carpet and attach it with the right rear intermediate floor duct and the left rear floor duct. Attach the right rear floor duct to the floor panel with two screws, tightened to 2 Nm and set the push-pin retainer in place that will keep the rear carpet attached to the duct before you add the center console. Before engaging with the right rear floor duct, place the left rear floor duct on the vehicle, secure its rear into the carpet opening and do the same for the right back duct. Connect the left rear floor duct to the floor panel with two screws at 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) and install the rear carpet push-pin retainer before fitting the center floor console.
