How to remove and replace the Liftgate Lock Actuator (Power Trunk) on Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. remove and replace the Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator. Following that, take off the liftgate trim panel, disconnect the liftgate wire harness connectors, and disengage the retainer connector on the liftgate latch control.
