How to service and repair a Shift Indicator on Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The shift indicator is serviced or repaired by first taking off the gear shift knob and the floor console. After that, remove the plug from the transaxle range indicator and get rid of the bulb. Release the lock, push in the bulb and then snap the socket in place. After that, put the floor console back in and attach the gear shift knob.
