How to Remove a Seat Cushion from the Front Seat on Chrysler Sebring?

To remove the front seat cushion, the seat must be removed from the vehicle so you have better access to the pan below. Then, take out the seat side shields and break the electrical connections from the seat. Then, take out the four seat pan fasteners.

Put the bottom part of the front seat cushion in place before installing anything else. After that, place the wire harness fasteners securely onto the cushion frame. After that, attach the seat pan cushion fasteners (1) and tighten each one to 11 Nm (8 ft.lbs.). If you have the cushion side shield, connect the switch wire connectors (2, 3 and 4) to it. When you have added the back rest, put in the cushion side shields as well. Afterward, position the seat inside the vehicle.
