The first step to servicing and repairing the antenna mast is to remove the
Glove Box from the instrument panel. Disconnect the tube from the end of the extension and then take out the right kick trim panel. Remove the rubber grommet insulator from the hinge pillar and pull the
Antenna Cable inside the door between the two hinges. Support the vehicle on safety stands and take off the wheel and wheelhouse splash shield now. Once connected, take out the antenna mast from the antenna base. Unscrew the plastic cap from your cap nut and prevent and use your cap nut tool to remove the cap nut linking the antenna base to the front
Fender. Release the antenna base that's connected under the front fender. To set up, connect the antenna base to the front fender's underside and fix it with the supplied nut. Instead of a cap, securely place the plastic one on the cap nut and attach the antenna mast to the antenna base. Put the front wheelhouse splash shield and the front wheel back on and then set the vehicle on the ground. Rock the cable through the lower opening of the hinge pillar and slide the rubber grommet into the door hinge pillar. Put in the kick panel, attach the antenna cable to the extension cable and then set the glove box back onto the instrument panel.
