Hold the motor against the door using its original mounting hole pattern and apply a little grease on the motor's gear before fitting it. After that, mount the three motor rivets with part number 2 and join the power window motor harness connector with part number 1. Once that is done, line up part number one which is the watershield, over the door and place it on top. After that, attach the negative battery cable.

To begin installation, first attach the motor to the window and finish by fastening it with the tools provided. Then, hook up the electronic device and add the door trim panel as the next step. The last step is to connect the negative cable from the battery. To install a sliding door window motor, put in the motor and attach it with the screws, add the electrical connector, install the sliding door trim panel and finally connect the negative terminal of the battery. Avoid running into trouble! Upon removing the vent window motor, install a new one and complete the electrical connections. Put the actuator link socket onto the ball socket inside the quarter window and use a soft mallet to push the circular tab till it sits flush against the link.
