To start, lower the
Control Arm off of the cradle and mount it in a vise before servicing the bushing. Use the Bushing Receiver, Special Tool 6908-2, Bushing Remover 6908-1, Nut 6908-3, thrust washer, threaded rod and small nut to take off the front bushing. Stand the threaded rod still and dry-fit it so you can then tighten Special Tool 6908-3 which will force the lower control arm bushing into Bushing Receiver, Special Tool 6908-2. When assembling, insert the two rubber blocks in the directional front bushing so they are in line and hold up the lower control arm securely in a vise. Get the Bushing Receiver, Special Tool 6908-5, Bushing Installer, Special Tool 6908, Nut, Special Tool 6908-3, threaded rod and small nut ready for assembly. Keep the threaded rod as still as you can and start tightening the Nut, Special Tool 6908-3 which will pull the front bushing into the lower control arm until you can't feel any space between the bushing and arm. After that, secure the lower control arm to its place on the front suspension cradle.
