The second row seat in the LWB with HVAC has to be removed first to access and remove the second row outboard seat belt. After pulling the lower anchor cover away from the shoulder-nut, take off the anchor shoulder-nut and the lower anchor from the
Wheelhouse. Fold the cover located in the upper turning loop extension down to get to the anchor bolt. Then, unscrew the bolt that holds the turning loop to the extension bracket above the quarter glass and take the turning loop off the bracket. After that, remove the D-pillar trim panel, the quarter trim bolster and the quarter trim panel as required to get to the HVAC unit. Attach the seat belt webbing and turning loop inside the access hole in the quarter trim. Loose up the HVAC unit and then remove the bracket around it, remove the fasteners for the lower heater duct, the fasteners under the HVAC unit, the screws connecting the upper to lower evaporators and the coolant line retaining bracket bolt. Loose the bolts holding the seat belt guide loop to the inside of the quarter panel, pull on the HVAC unit and remove the bolt connecting the retractor to that panel. Don't forget to remove the second row seat belt retractor from the vehicle. During installation, place the side of the second row seat belt retractor into the car, attach the retractor to the inner quarter panel by a screw, pull out the HVAC unit and attach the retractor to the inner quarter panel using the bolt.
