Unscrew the side shield from the frame and pull it away to get to the connection between the switch and the power seat switch wire harness. Remove the wire harness connector from the power seat switch connector receptacle. Then, remove the three screws keeping the switch to the inside of the outboard seat cushion shield and take out the switch. To fit the switch, connect it with the screws to the outboard side of the seat cushion shield and tighten securely to 1.5 Nm (14 in. lbs.). Lock the power seat wire harness connector plug onto the back of the switch and bury the outboard shade into the seat cushion frame, making sure the screws are tight (14 in. lbs.). When the knobs are included, put them on the switch control levers and then reconnect the battery negative cable.
