To position the tensioner assembly correctly, install one of the engine bracket mounting bolts (M10) only 5 to 7 turns into the tensioner's upper mounting hole. Turn the lower mounting bolt to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) and then loosen and remove the alignment bolt found on the top. Place the rear timing belt cover and all fasteners and then set in the timing belt idler pulley, tightening the mounting bolt as required, that is, 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Next, secure the camshaft sprockets with Special Tools C-4687 and C-4687-1 Adapter while you tighten their bolts to 101 Nm (75 ft. lbs.) and after that, you can put in the timing belt.
