Next, set the floor console into the vehicle and attach the electric connectors. Place the fasteners on the front of the center console and turn each screw to 3 Nm (27 in. lbs.). Then, attach the fasteners in the rear bin and tighten them to 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.). After that, fit the shifter bezel into the car and secure the electrical cables to it. After placing the mat in the console rear bin, fit the shifter boot and bezel next. Place the gear selector in Park, then cover the shifter shaft with the ring and slide the shift knob onto the shaft until it's well seated. Lastly, slide the final retaining ring onto the knob, then join the battery terminal to the negative wire on the shifter.
