To install the rear bumper fascia, begin by installing the two push-pin retainers and a new nut insert into each quarter panel if they were removed. For SRT8 models, attach the lower fascia to the rear fascia assembly using new metal retaining clips if it was removed. If equipped, install the park assist sensors into the rear fascia assembly. Position the rear fascia assembly onto the vehicle and connect the license plate lamp and park assist wire harness connector if equipped. Engage the two push-pin retainers into the slots on each side of the rear fascia assembly by pushing the fascia forward. Install the push-pin retainers that secure the rear fascia assembly to the decklid sill, using three for sedan and wagon models and one for the Charger. For sedan models, install the two bumper stops. Raise and support the vehicle, then install the screws that secure the rear fascia assembly to the nut insert in each quarter panel, tightening them securely. Position each rear wheel house splash shield to the rear fascia assembly and install the push-pin retainers. Finally, lower the vehicle.
