Make sure to first drain and remove the fuel tank, because the fuel system is always under pressure, even when the engine isn't running. Use the indexing arrow on top of the module to identify the position, before taking out the fuel pump. Place the position lockring remover/installer 9340 into the notches shown at the outside edge of the lockring. Attach your 1/2 inch drive breaker bar to Lockring Remover/Installer 9340 and turn the breaker bar counterclockwise to take out the lockring. With the lockring taken off, the air module rises a little bit, so it can be gently unhooked from the fuel tank without risking damage to the float arm.
