Following this, separate the instrument panel wire harness connector from the rear of the multi-function switch housing. At the left end of the Clock Spring, press and hold down on the tab of the latch feature on the multi-function switch housing to unengage it. After unlatching the battery, lift the switch on the receptacle, keeping it clear of the bracket.
