The relay of the radiator fan is situated beneath the left front headlamp module and needs removing to access it. To remove the relay, first open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal. The left side headlamp bulb is removed from the headlamp housing. The left headlamp is removed from the vehicle. Subsequently, take off the cover that shields the relay and unplug the relay connector Carefully drill out the two retaining rivets, then remove the relay from the vehicle. For installation, mount the relay to a location so that the heat generated can dissipate to prevent the thermal shutdown or damage due to overheating of the engine.
