Open the hood and detach the negative battery cable from the terminal on the remote battery post before you begin service and repair. On Intrepid and Concorde models, first remove the driver's door panel, then take out the three mounting screws, cut off the connector and take out the master switch. To remove the switch from these cars, insert a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) between the bezel and the dashboard, take out the connector from the backside of the switch and then get the switch out of the car. When changing passengers, take out the passenger door trim, remove the switch's connector and get the switch out of the bezel and the car. For the rear door switches, raise the rear door, insert a trim stick behind the switch bezel, pull the switch out of the door panel, pry out the tabs holding the switch connector and remove it from your car. Install the master switch and wire connector on the Concorde and Intrepid models, mount it with three mounting screws, put the driver's side door panel back in place and link the negative battery cable with the remote terminal when completing installation for the master switch. With LHS and 300M models, link the wire connector to the switch, fit the switch in the trim panel and plug the negative battery cable remote terminal. First, put in the passenger switch and connect the switch and wire side; then reinstall the door trim panel and connect the negative battery cable remote terminal. As for the rear door switches, attach the switch to the connector, put the switch inside the door trim panel and connect the negative cable from the battery to the remote terminal.
