Move the window to the top position if it lets you, then go to the front of the car and unplug the negative battery cable remote terminal from the battery post. Take out the door trim piece and the
Window Regulator, be sure to secure the sector gear to the mounting plate with a C clamp to avoid injury from the moving regulator. Unplug the wiring connector from the motor, take out the three mounting screws holding the motor gearbox in place and take the motor out of the regulator. For installation, line up the sectors in your regulator and between your new motor's gearbox and motor screw head. Tighten each of the three gearbox screws and, if there's a tie down bracket, tighten it as well, to a torque between 5.6 and 8 N.m (50 to 70 in. lbs.). Attach the regulator, try out the motor with the switch, add the trim panel back on and connect the negative battery cable remote terminal to the remote battery post.
