How to Remove the Center Console Base on Dodge Journey?

Remove the center console by first unscrewing and taking off both the bezel and the knob for the shifter. After that, raise the parking brake handle into position and take out the side mounting screws or bolts. Lift the console cover and get rid of the four securing screws that hold the unit in place. Push in behind the front part of the center console, making sure the retainers come out from the instrument panel area. Separate the electrical connector from the back of the center floor console and afterwards remove the center floor console from the inside of the vehicle.
