Align the front wiper module with the cowl plenum then cover the stud on the cowl bottom with the rubber insulator from the front wiper motor bracket. Screw each end of the front wiper module bracket to the cowl plenum with two screws, tightening the one on the side facing outboard first and the one on the inside later to reach a torque of 8 Nm (72 in. lbs.). After that, connect the nut to the rubber insulator on the wiper motor bracket so that it sits on the two weld studs on the cowl plenum and tighten to 7.5 Nm (67 in. lbs.). Insert the wire harness connector from the front wiper motor into the motor connector receptacle and fix the cowl plenum cover/grille panel into the cowl plenum. Before installing, turn the ignition switch to ON and use the front
Wiper Switch multiple times to return the wiper motor and linkage to their proper parking position. Next, put the negative cable from the battery back to its place.
