How to Install and Reprogram an ABS Control Module on Dodge Ram 1500?

If an ABM replaces a previous unit, be sure to reprogram it with a scan tool before installation. The first step is to hook up the ABM to the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). After that, join the pump connector to the ABM and ensure it is secure. Secure the mounting bolts and apply force of 2 Nm (16 in. lbs.). After that, plug the wiring harness into the ABM by pushing down on the release to fix it firmly in place. After that, connect the negative cable back to the battery.
