It is easy to replace each hood hinge without taking off the hood first. First, take out the cowl grille. With a grease pencil, note the place where the hood hinge should be fitted onto the hood. Lift up the hood and take out the support cylinder beneath it. After that, remove both nuts that hold the hood to the hinge and then remove the bolt beneath the front fender that secures it to the hinge. Take off the wheelhouse splash shield followed by taking out the bolts that keep the hood hinge to the fender rail. At last, pull the hood hinge forward and get rid of it.
