Raise and prop up the car first, then wheel and tire assembly and after that the disc
Brake Caliper and the disc brake rotor. Take the
Parking Brake Cable out and release the cable for the park brake from behind the rotor, so it's easier to get at the park brake shoes. Then, get rid of the
Axle Shaft and split open both rear park brake shoes. To do the installation, put back the rear park brake shoes, insert the axle shaft and then letting go and unlocking the parking brake cable allows you to release the cable. Insert the disc brake rotor and the disc brake caliper, then adjust the rear brake shoes and lastly install the tire and wheel assembly right before lowering the vehicle.
