How are exterior Emblems attached to body panels and how to remove and install them on Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

The exterior nameplates are fastened to the body with adhesive tape. A strip of masking tape should be positioned on the body, between the top edge of the nameplate and the dash, for easier removal. Warm both the affected nameplate and body metal to 38 degrees C (100 degrees F) with a suitable heat gun or heat lamp. Slowly remove the nameplate from the part of the car that is painted. Before installing decals, first scrape any tape residue from the surface underneath the paint. Apply Mopar Super Kleen solvent or a similar cleaner to the body surface and clean it with a lint-free towel-then wipe it dry. Lift off the cover from the tape on the nameplate's back and press the nameplate against the body, just beneath the marking tape. When the masking tape guide is off, heat the body and the nameplate and then attach the nameplate securely to the body surface.
