For servicing or fixing the throttle body, first take away the engine cover and the air cleaner. Disconnect all of the electrical connectors at the MAP sensor, IAC motor and TPS from the throttle body. Then, disconnect the vacuum line on the throttle body and take out all the cables from the lever arm. Usually, four bolts secure the throttle body to the intake manifold and after these are loosened and the throttle body removed, the old gasket can be thrown away. After cleaning the connections where the throttle body and intake manifold will join, add a new gasket and then connect them securely. Restore the throttle body into place on the intake manifold and then use the four mounting bolts to fix it in place, stopping tightening when it reaches 23 Nm or 200 in. lbs. After determining which cable is burned, reattach the dry clutch cable, connect the special hose and install the dry clutch wirings.
