Service and repairs of the HCU in the antilock brakes start by pulling out the left turn signal appliance and the panel that's connected to it. Take the signal horn connector out and remove the access cover, after which you should undo the mounting screws on the reservoir. Remove the reservoir from the car's engine compartment after lifting it to take out the connector and hose from the pump motor. Lift out the battery, then untie or cut the battery cables and remove the power distribution center along with its bracket or supports. Open the harness connector locks and take the connectors out of the CAB. Cut out the brake lines from the HCU and remove the front mounting bolt from the interior through its opening and the rear mounting bolt from inside the engine compartment. Tilt the assembly towards the top at the brake line hook and take it out of its mounting bracket. To mount, reattach the assembly back onto the mount, attach the mounting bolts and ensure they are set to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) and then tighten the brake lines to the HCU to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.). Reconnect all the CAB harness fuselages and lock them into place. After that, replace the reservoir inside the engine compartment, connect the pump motor and pump hose to it and screw the reservoir down. Replace the battery and afterward, secure the mount of the power distribution center and install the cables for both the battery and the power distribution center. Then, attach the horn connector again, install the access cover, the extension panel and the left turn signal housing and bleed the brakes.
