After that, remove the mounting stud from both the sensor and shield and pull the sensor and shield away from the differential housing. Unconnect the wire harness coming from the sensor and get rid of the sensor. To install the harness, link it to the sensor, making sure the seal stays secure between the sensor and wiring. Should the O-ring have been removed, install it on the sensor before you fit the sensor to the differential housing. Insert the sensor shield and make sure the sensor mounting stud is secure after you've tightened it to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Secure the brake line to the sensor stub once more and then add and tighten the nut before letting go of the vehicle.
