How to service and repair the battery cable on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

Before touching the battery cable, turn the ignition switch to OFF and switch off all electrical accessories. Break the negative cable from the remote battery and isolate it. Next, start by unfastening and detaching each pushpin, fastener and routing clip that holds the battery cable, until it is no longer attached to the vehicle, then pull the assembly out. To install the battery cable, put it in the car and attach each connecting pushpin, fastener and clip one at a time to get it in the original factory spot. Next, attach the battery's negative cable connector.
