How to service the coolant reservoir on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

Before working on the coolant reservoir, be sure to take off the negative battery cable. Then, get rid of the windshield washer reservoir and the overflow hose at the tank where the washers overflow. After that, unscrew the two bolts at the top of the tank and lift it out, holding it in place by the slot of the radiator support panel below. When installing, put the tank back into the slot on the radiator support, add the bolts and tighten them to 6 Nm (50 inch lbs.) torque. Replace the overflow pipe back onto the tank, fit the washer tank into its holder and attach the negative battery cable.
