How to remove and replace the glove box on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

Turn off the air bag by unconnected and isolating the negative battery cable and leave it for two minutes to allow the system's capacitor to discharge. Look in the glove box and find the two rubber bumpers on either side of the opening for the instrument panel. Push both ends of the glove box bin inward to pass the integral stops over the rubber stop bumpers and roll the glove box box all the way down once the stops are clear of the bumpers. Unbolt and lift the glove box by first lowering it and taking out the three screws from the hinge which fits it to the reinforcement on the instrument panel at the lower end of the glove box opening. Slide the glove box hinge onto the support panel, affix it with three 3 N.m (30 in. lbs.) screws, bring up the glove box and reconnect the negative battery cable.
