After that, add the multi-function switch, bracket and column trim to the very top of the steering column all at once. Reach through the hole in the trim, at lower right, install and tighten the screw that connects the trim and mounting bracket to the tab on top of the steering column. After that, install the speed control switch onto the steering column and secure the negative battery cable.

After that, find the screw under the lower right part of the steering column trim and take it out, as it holds the multi-function switch, mounting bracket and trim to the highest point on the steering column housing. Move the switch, bracket and steering column trim all together to prevent damage to any component. This involves loosening the screws connecting the multi-function switch to the lug that holds its base to the steering column trim from the back end which helps you remove it.
