- Q: How to Service and Repair the Front Cross-Member on Dodge Sprinter 2500?A:Install the engine support tool 8534 or a substitute, then lift the car before doing any work on the engine cradle crossmember. After removing the engine mount nuts, front spring and calipers, cut the straps holding the wheel speed sensor as well as the brake pad wear sensor wire harness to the cradle and cut those straining the transmission harness.
