Before servicing the coolant level sensor, verify that the temperature of the cooling system is below 194.Make sure that the coolant does not burn (F (90°C), so wear protective clothing and goggles when using it. Do not allow it to spill outside the basin and store in appropriately labelled containers to prevent poisoning. Start draining antifreeze from the radiator drain plug until the coolant reservoir is drained empty. Following that, detach the electrical connector of the wiring harness, rotate the level sensor in a clockwise direction by 90 degrees and lift it out of the container. To install the coolant level sensor, insert it into the access hole in the coolant reservoir and push down. Then, turn it counterclockwise by 90° to seat it. Reconnect the electrical connector of the coolant level sensor, refill the cooling system and check for leaks.
