To deal with the air duct for your instrument panel A/C, first rotate the barrel upward past the stops until you hear a click, then rotate to the mid position and pull it up. Should it be difficult to remove the barrels by hand, use a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) to help pry them out. The barrel goes atop the trunnions positioned on the cluster bezel of the A/C unit. Make certain the big slot at the end of the barrels matches the trunnion and then press the barrel down to attach it.
