First, remove the negative
Battery Cable from the shock tower's remote connection and then take off the alternator belt cover. Disconnect the side of the field circuit that is plugged into the generator and, using a small tool, spread open the B+ terminal cover. Then, unfasten the B+ terminal wire and nut, raise and hold up the vehicle, bolt off the accessory drive splash shield and belt and set the vehicle back down. Pull the
MAP Sensor out of the
Intake Manifold and remove the generator bolts and after that, pull the generator out from inside the vehicle. After you place it back in, bolt and tighten it and do the same for the MAP sensor. Both the accessory belt and splash shield should be installed after raising the car, letting it down, then inserting the B+ terminal wire and nut and covering the B+ terminal. After that, connect the field circuit to the generator, put the belt cover back in place and link the negative battery cable again.
