Dodge Stratus Seat Heater Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Seat Heater on Dodge Stratus?
    A:
The heated seat function should be serviced with the negative Battery Cable disconnected and isolated. Remove the seat cushion or trim cover you need in order to disconnect the electrical wiring from the malfunctioning heated seat element. Annoy any cables drawing from the faulty heating element and slice them neatly at the end of the original heating element. Peel off the backing from the new heating element and place it either on top of the old element or right onto the foam cushion without curling or folding anything. Join the electrical links from the heating element, then plug the negative battery cable back in. See that the heated seat system is in good working order. Return the proper seat cushion or trim cover to the seat and properly tuck any extra wire alongside the seat, making sure it doesn't move.
