Dodge Stratus Transmission Oil Cooler Parts and Q&A

  • Q:
How to service and repair a Transmission Oil Cooler on Dodge Stratus?
    A:
The upper radiator crossmember and fan module should be taken off to service and repair the transmission oil cooler. Subsequently, release the cooler line bracket on the left side of the radiator and detach the cooler lines from the cooler. Once the cooler has been removed, proceed with installation of the new cooler first and connect the cooler lines. After confirming that the cooler line support bracket is tight, reinstall the cooling fan module and the upper radiator crossmember. Finally, measure and adjust the transmission oil if necessary.
