Open the vise and put the upper control arm in it with its closest bush hooked into the clamp. Always first apply the proper lubricant to the threads of Screw Assembly 6969-3, before using Special Tool 6969B. Fasten the parts of Remover, Special Tool 6969B, together after putting them through the bushing. Do not use any impact wrench with Special Tool 6969B; you should only used tools by hand. Remember that there may be a bit of rubber from the bushing that might become stuck against the Remover as you remove the arms, so extra force may be required. Rotate Nut 1, Special Tool 6969-4, clockwise as you hold Screw 4 and Special Tool 6969-3 which remains stationary, to move Led loosen isolator bushing from control arm 5 and into Receiver, Special Tool 6969-2.

  Place the new lower bush bushing sized at 5 mm into the side of the control arm bore facing outward. Lubricate the threads of Screw Assembly 6969-3 with an appropriate lubricant prior to using Special Tool 6969B. Join Remover, Special Tool 6969B, bushings and control arm parts. You should never use an impact wrench on Special Tool 6969B; only hand tools should be used. Keep Screw 4 still and use tool number 6969-4 to clockwise rotate Nut 1 and pull the control arm's isolator bushing into place. Make sure the bushing metal flange touches the control arm straightly when you tighten the Screw. After setting up all of the tools, remove them and install the lower control arm on the car.
