How to Maintain a Turn Signal Flasher on Jeep Cherokee?

The first step is to disconnect and isolate the battery's negative side. Eliminate the instrument panel's knee blocker. From the outboard portion of the steering column, take out the combination flasher wire harness connector retainer and detach it from the instrument panel diagnostics mount. Pull the combination flasher into the steering column opening of the instrument panel to find the wire harness connector, then disconnect it and take the flasher out. First, set the combination flasher placed beneath the instrument panel, then place its terminals in the appropriate wire harness openings and push until the terminals are securely seated. Put the combination flasher wire harness connector retainer into the mounting hole of the instrument panel diagnostics bracket, put the knee blocker back onto the instrument panel and finally plug the battery negative cable back in.
