When installing the fuel rail for the 2.0/2.4L engine, apply a bit of engine oil to the O-ring of each injector, fit the injectors into the fuel rail and attach the retaining clips to hold them securely in place. After that, put the fuel injector nozzles into the openings of the intake manifold and make sure they are properly seated. Fix the 2 bolts into the fuel rail and tighten them using 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) of torque. Attach the fuel rail harness to the fuel rail and fasten and secure the electrical connections to each fuel injector. Join the fuel line to the fuel rail after which you should connect the negative battery cable. In the end, access the Scan Tool Fuel System Test and pressurize the fuel system to find any leaks.
