Place the two ball studs on the lamp housing by the door into the two grommets in the quarter panel and then press the outside of the lamp firmly until all sides click in. Attach the two screws that fix the rear lamp unit to the side jamb of the liftgate opening and tighten them to 2 N.m (20 in. lbs.) Next, reconnect the battery negative cable.
