  The intake manifold should be removed following these three steps, reduce pressure in the fuel system, ventilate the workplace and keep it free from anything that can cause a spark. Open the engine cover (1) at the beginning and go on to follow the instructions for releasing fuel system pressure. After that, remove the clean air hose (5) and the air cleaner housing (1). Undo the black cable from the battery (3) and the cable (3) from the rail of the fuel line.   Before installing the intake manifold, clean all the gasket areas and change the intake manifold gasket. The intake manifold goes in after, so tighten its bolts to 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.). After that, put the Fuel Rail assembly onto the intake manifold and tighten the bolts up to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.). Connect the mating ends of the fuel injector wiring to the engine (4), then examine the quick connect fittings for damage; replace them when needed. Following this, match the largest fuel line (3) into the car's fuel port and the negative cable to the right terminal on the battery (3). Fill the cooling system and place the air cleaner housing (1) and the clean air hose (5). After that, start up the engine and verify there are no leaks before placing the engine cover (1).
